THE PARTNERS NEPAL SUPPORTED THE DISADVANTAGED BHUJEL FAMILY IN SUNDAKHANI IN KATHMANDU

The Partners Nepal supported the disabled family of 8 from Sundkhani of Gokarnaswor Municipality, Kathmandu. The Partners Nepal helped CGI sheet to make a comfortable shed for their cow and calf, the only income source for the whole family.

The two brothers are paralyzed and have wheelchairs to move around. They have 80 years mother who suffered from COVID and is still weak although she has recovered. They have four children and a total of 8 families. The only wife of Bheem Bhujel looks after the whole family from selling the milk from recently supported by Mr. Pemba Gyaltsen Sherpa of Khumbu Lodge, Namche, followed by other interested groups.

Mr. Pemba Gyaltsen Sherpa said, supporting the cow will help them engage and make daily income from selling the bowls of milk to the stores and families to feed the whole family. They don’t have any income other than raising the cow and the milk. Thank you for introducing this family, and we must provide small matching support to Mr. Sherpa. Our support is part of our COVID support for disadvantaged communities.

If you’re interested in supporting this family, please consider contacting Mr. Pemba Gyaltsen Sherpa ([email protected]).

Thank you
