With funding from Mr. Peter Nichols, a longtime supporter and TPN’s International Advisor, The Partners Nepal supported the Allo Club Production Center with three key projects, including riverbank protection. A 25-meter-long, 8-foot-high gabion wall was constructed to shield the building from monsoon floods and heavy rainfall. This stabilization effort prevents erosion, preserves the river’s natural habitat, and protects property and infrastructure from flood damage.
The roof of the Allo Club Production Center was replaced with new corrugated iron sheets, improving the building’s durability and protection from weather damage. The original roof, installed in 1994 with support from the Australian Youth Group led by Ang Rita Sherpa, had not been replaced in 30 years. Additionally, the toilet and bathroom facilities were upgraded to enhance cleanliness, promote gender equality, and improve public health.
CHALLENGES FACED BY ACPC

Ms. Laxmi Rai, the ACPC coordinator, has requested assistance from Peter Nichols and The Partners Nepal to address these issues through four key projects:
Riverbank Protection: The ACPC building, located along the Sisuwa Khola riverbank, is at risk of erosion. Immediate stabilization measures are needed to protect the banks, prevent flooding, and preserve the river’s natural habitat, safeguarding property and infrastructure.
